Project description

This series of online modules focuses on providing tools for new mentors working with youth mentees. The first module covers best practices in building a strong relationship with the mentee and their family. The second module provides training on how to support youth mentee who are using mental health applications, through the framework of Supportive Accountability.
These courses will be offered to a wide variety of mentoring programs, including Big Brothers Big Sisters.

  • working with SMEs and source materials to translate academic content into a learning experience for mentors of various educational and professional background;
  • designing interactive exercises to offer mentors opportunities to practice what they learned;
