Project description
A series of modules developed with Cardea Services for the Urban Indian Health Institute, a division of the Seattle Indian Health Board.
The goal is to inform health providers on various topics around treating patients with HIV within the American Indian and Alaska Native communities. The modules cover best practices for a person-centered and inclusive approach to working with patients of all ages, while taking into account the unique characteristics of these communities. A strong emphasis on reducing stigma and addressing trauma was included.
These modules are eligible for medical continuing education contact hours.
Our role in this project included:
- Working with Cardea Services to conduct a needs analysis for each topic and understand the performance gap among health providers;
- Working with SMEs and source materials to develop the content, including visuals and narration;
- Working with SMEs to develop interactive case studies and other activities to illustrate practical applications and best practices;
- Producing the modules in Articulate Storyline.
Outcome
